We came to Bill Fife as first time home buyers with a limited timeline and a laundry list of specifications for our future home. This was a tall order, especially considering the aggressive competition in the area we wanted, but he delivered above and beyond on all of our hopes and expectations.

Bill Fife was a real lifesaver. I moved from Texas to California with only two weeks to pack up and move. After I left Texas, Bill inspected the upgrades to my condo, suggested some changes, had the unit cleaned, and rented it out all within a month. For the next two years until I sold the property, the unit was always occupied. He handled any tenant calls and scheduled all repairs, and the rent was always deposited right on time. An added bonus was that he was able to sell my unit when the time came. I cannot recommend Bill Fife and Associates highly enough.

On Saturday 3/5/16, I met up with Uzziel Valdiviezo at one of his properties in North Dallas within the sophisticated Bent Tree neighborhood. This 2 bed/1.5 bath rental condo was all I had envisioned. I had searched for a place about 2 months and would not settle. I wanted a place that I would immediately fall in love with. I was mainly looking for a gated community in a prestigious and safe neighborhood, privacy, space/storage, townhouse style, washer/dryer included, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, French style stainless steel fridge with bottom freezer, and upgraded/modern look.

Uzziel has been the best realtor I’ve ever worked with. He ensured that I get exactly what I wanted. He is very informative, patient, and honest. He took his time to answer all my questions. Most importantly, he responded to my emails and phone calls almost immediately even on weekends and after hours. I plan on working with Uzziel when I am ready to buy my first house. He is dedicated to what he does and to you as a customer as well.

I worked with Bill for two years. I moved to Washington State and asked Bill to manage my condo since the market was not good, and I wanted a professional to rent and oversee it.  Bill was on top of everything, found a very good renter within a couple of weeks. Anytime the renter had a problem, he responded and let me know right away. He contacted someone to fix the problem and sent me all paperwork. When the market was better I decided to sell the condo, and he had it sold in a matter of days. I highly recommend Bill in any endeavor he pursues.

Uzziel was great to have working for me. Team player. He went above and beyond what most agents I have dealt with in the past are willing to do. Me and my family were in a bind and we needed to find a rental quickly. Uzziel was able to locate for us a great home for my family within days. We have signed the agreements and we are getting ready to move in.

I met Bill in 2009 when we both worked for the same broker. Word around the office was he was the property management guru. I owned several rental houses and I needed an agent to list one for me. When I met him at my house to get it ready to list we did a few of the typical realtor ‘do it this way, no… do it that way’ go rounds. Then when we went outside I asked Bill why he put the For Lease sign the way he did. He started to laugh and said….”we just had our first real Realtor squabble.” That was so funny I knew right then I was going to love working with him. He’s truly amazing.

He can rent out a house in a day after he does a walk through and quickly tells me what all does and doesn’t need to be fixed to lease it. He oversees all repairs and the final clean up before he lists the houses. He’s got a great team of vendors who are dedicated to him and will fix whatever needs to be fixed as soon as possible and they do excellent work. He charges me exactly what his vendors charge him which is not the norm in his line of business. Bill believes in passing on the great discounts his vendors give him to his clients.

We had to relocate to Austin and he became the property manager for all our houses including the house we left when we moved. Our dream house. Once he took over, he raised the rents on the houses to where they should have been. One of our houses he completely remodeled for us and got several hundred dollars more a month for rent. Not once did I go and check out what he did to the house, which is how much I trust him. He will do what has to be done with tenants even if it is unpleasant. And there were plenty of unpleasant situations going on with our houses when he took them over, which he remedied. After that everything went smoothly.

He does intense background checks on all applicants and did not once put a tenant in to any of our houses that was not a good tenant. He is currently overseeing and making the design decisions on many items needing to be done in our dream house which we are currently preparing to rent out again. He knows how much I love that house as we plan on retiring there. He’s doing a beautiful job on our house. After 6 years of working together we have also become friends and I always enjoy doing business with him.  I highly recommend Bill to anyone looking for an excellent property manager for their properties.

I first came to know Bill when I leased a condominium that he managed. Over the several years that I lived in that property, Bill always made sure to have any repair issues taken care of immediately, and I know that if he had needed to, he would have aggressively seen to it that I upheld my end of the bargain. The truth is, I was a “dream tenant” — the kind of person that pays the rent on time, every month.

Bill has been managing rental properties for years, and he has an army of repair specialists that he can call upon for repairs.  Those repair specialists respond immediately to his call, because they know how much business Bill has to refer to them, over time, and they know that if they don’t respond quickly to his call, or if they don’t effect the repairs well the first time, they’ll end up eliminated from Bill’s list. Bill ensures that the property owner keeps a happy tenant, and his property properly maintained, without having to deal with the headaches of inspecting, calling the right person, and scheduling the repairs.

As the years went by, my fiancé and I began to look for the perfect home that we might eventually want to buy together. We were in no rush. In fact, we started looking at homes for sale before we were even engaged. Bill went so far above and beyond the call, meeting with us on many Saturdays, and spent the day looking at different houses that were on the market, sometimes seeing as many as 18 homes in one day. Although Bill knew we were not ready to buy yet, he was more than accommodating, and spent many hours, over many months, making the appointments for us to see many houses. The result of spending all that time with us was that Bill came to know our tastes, to know our priorities, and worked diligently to show us houses that fit within our price range, and offered the qualities we were looking for.

Then one day Bill called with the exciting news that he had found our house!  He had managed to get a preview of the home on the day before it went on the market. He called us on Friday night and told us what the asking price was, and he recommended that we not even look at it unless we were ready to buy, because this house had literally everything we had been looking for and was “turnkey ready” for move in. In addition, as it turned out, he accurately predicted that it would sell on the first day it was on the market, for the seller’s asking price. He had run the numbers and figured out what the lowest possible figure was as an acceptable offer from the owner/seller’s standpoint, but if we were interested, we should get together with him early the next morning.

Saturday morning we went with Bill to see our house (along with two other prospective buyers who were there with us), and Bill’s glowing descriptions were not adequate to describe how truly perfect this house was. He was right; he had found “our house.” Following his advice, we tendered our offer, which was one of three offers the seller received that afternoon.

Bill is so much more than just a realtor. He is the best realtor there is in the Dallas area, due to his many years of experience and his knowledge of the market. The reality is that we didn’t just do business with a realtor; we made a new, dear friend in Bill.  Long after the business was over, we continue to count Bill as a special friend. We’ve been to dinners with him, and we have included him for a July 4th BBQ at our home — the home we never would have found, if it hadn’t been for the extra hours he dedicated to getting to know us and watching the market for new properties. Only because he put so much effort into caring that he found our dream house for us, we were poised to be the first in line to view our home that first morning that it was on the market. We submitted our offer that afternoon, and by about 7PM, we had the news that our offer had been accepted. Less than a month later we were in our new home, entertaining extended family for Thanksgiving. None of this would have happened with just any realtor, but Bill made it happen due to his passion, and he did it all while still scheduling showings for other buyers, managing expectations wisely for both buyers and sellers, and managing all of the rental properties he was in charge of. After all, we were certainly not Bill’s only clients, and he had yet to see one dime of profit from all of the work he was dedicating to us. Our dream only became true because of Bill Fife.

Not a day has gone by since that my husband and I don’t say to ourselves and each other, how lucky we are to have had Bill on our side. We count our blessings every single day as we deal with the traffic of Dallas during our commute to and from work, but once we arrive home, we say, “I love our home.”
